Coasteering

Coasteering for most will be an activity unheard of.  Most of you sometime in your life have undertaken a low key version of Coasteering, most probably as a kid scrambling around the rocks at the beach.

Adventurous Coasteering takes rock scrambling to the next level.

Traversing the coastline on your fingers and toes only inches above the crashing waves on overhanging rock- now that's COASTEERING!

A Coasteering experience in its basic essence is a traverse of the coastline.  Along route you will be presented with a number of natural challenges such as deep turbulent inlets, rock jumps, cave swims and bouldering, all made increasingly exciting by the sea swells beneath your feet.

Working as a small team, Coasteering can be a controlled activity in a vastly open coastal environment.

Coasteering routes can be selected to meet the needs of the group.  North Devon has some of the finest coastline in the country for this activity.  Rugged cliffs and rock outcrops makes North Devon the premiere location.

Disclaimer
Coasteering is not for the faint hearted.  You will be placed in uncomfortable situations outside of your comfort zone, will have to undertake tidal swims and most probably end up grazing your knuckles.  All of this aside, this activity is Frontier Adventure, the pinnacle of what can be offered in outdoor education.  TRY IT!
