Beach Exploration

North Devon has some of the most pristine stretches of beach in the British Isles, and they are right here on our door step.  Most young people will have regular access to the coast, whilst others are deprived of visiting this environment, which is so rich with experiential learning.

A ‘Beach Exploration Day’ will offer young people the opportunities to ask and discover the answers to many questions that underpin conceptual understanding within the class room.

Curricular subject base:  Geography, Science, Art, PSHE
