Coast Path Adventure

A walk along a cliff edge can be exhilarating for all ages.  The awe inspiring backdrop of crashing waves and raging oceans can be the perfect stimulus for a day of outdoor learning.

For many, the network of coastal paths will have never of been explored.

A 'Coastal Path Adventure' can take the focus of a range of curricular themes ranging from coastal geology to rock pooling to historical pirate trails.

The educational impact of this experience comes through first hand experiences within a local setting.  We will endeavour to find the nearest suitable venue to your school, to ensure young people can relate directly to the surroundings, installing realism to the experience.

The timetable of the days events can be tailored specifically to a schemes of work being followed within the classroom, or can take the shape of a 'one-off' experiential day, planned entirely by us.   The choice is yours.

With the assistance of school staff, a whole class of up to 32 young people can participate in this experience.  Under DCC guidelines, this must be compliant to the ratio of 1:8 adult/child.

A 'Coastal Path Adventure' day can easily be combined with the 'Beach Exploration' day, enabling your school to benefit from the combined activities over only one day.
