Road Awareness Day

Traffic and travel is part of everyday life for us all.  As individuals we are responsible for our own safety, and this is dependent on our own awareness and understanding of the surroundings around us.

A Traffic Safety Workshop will take the shape of a practical school day, travelling out of school to collect primary data, then return to school to process and analyse the data. Assistance from the Police and other outside agencies will ensure this day is high impact in terms of realism.  Children will get to appreciate the real dangers they are faced with on their way to and from school and during their own time.
