Meet The Crew

Ethos
Outdoor
Education Training was formed in 2006 to offer a range of outdoor
programmes to people across North Devon. Using the vast outdoor
classroom in which we live in, individuals and groups can develop
skills to enable themselves to participate in outdoor activities at a
recreational level themselves. Outdoor Education Training can provide
the contact links to local clubs and organisations, ensuring that the
North Devon Countryside will benefit more people, in more ways into the
future.
Background
Having grown up in North Devon, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunities to become an 'Outdoor Educationalist'.
My
love of the outdoors has allowed me to travel the world as a Kayaker
and Climber, gaining valuable knowledge and expertise in all areas of
outdoor education.
As
an undergraduate I have read Outdoor/Environmental Education in the
Lake District before completing a Post Graduate Cert in Primary
Education. This has allowed me to work across a whole spectrum of ages
and abilities in a range of educational fields.
Freelance Staff
To
accommodate for larger groups it is often necessary to employ
additional freelance instructors. Outdoor Education Training has a
small freelance team, all of which are locally based and have extensive
outdoor education knowledge and experience.
